Yonex – The Legends’ Vision Initiative
Supported by Yonex, The Legends’ Vision initiative was created in 2015 to help promote a greater awareness and increased participation in badminton.
The Legends are legendary badminton players: Peter Gade, Taufik Hidayat, Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei and a new addition, Lee Yong Dae. Their vision is to leave a lasting legacy for the next generations badminton players and to inspire them to become more involved in the sport that The Legends love so much.
To help spread the vision, TMA worked with Yonex to create a series of events:
- In 2015 we created a World Tour where we followed the Legends to their home countries – a platform for them to communicate their visions to local audiences
- Building on the great success of the Legends’ World Tour 2015, a new tour was held in 2017 with a further one for 2018 soon to be announced
- Legacy Tours were also created, where at least one Legend attends countries around the world to host their own events and spread The Legends’ Vision
We created a look and feel for this prestigious initiative, brand guidelines, microsite, event support, collateral and filming and/or film editing at each of the World Tour events.
It is a great honour for TMA to partner with Yonex on this Vision for the future and we are proud to support The Legends in their quest to leave a lasting legacy in countries all around the world to raise the profile of badminton.
